Die ab 1972 gebauten vierachsigen Kesselwagen der Gattung Uahs (ab 1980 Zas) mit einem Fassungsvermögen von 880 hl bzw. 88 m³ wurden von Waggonvermietungsfirmen bei vielen Bahnverwaltungen als Privatwagen [P] eingestellt. Die Wagen standen zum Transport von Schweröl und Mineralölprodukten im Einsatz.
