Sættet består af to autotransportvogne "Christophorus" fra Deutsches Bundesbahn.
  • Sættet indeholder to autotransportvogne  type DDm i havblå farve.
Fra 1969 etablerede Detusche Bundesbahn D1410/1411 som en hurtig daglig forbindelse mellem Düsseldorf/Köln og München. For første gang forsøgte DB således at tiltrække standard- og forretningsrejser til jernbanerne året rundt med takster, der var særligt gunstige i forhold til prisen på turistbilletter. Rejsetiden udgjorde mindre end syv timer. For at sætte toget i stand til at nå op på 160 km/t blev 20 DDM 915 vogne udstyret med magnetiske skinnebremser. Fra 1971 blev det elektriske lokomotiv serie 103 brugt som trækkraft, men andre serier, for eksempel BR 111, blev også brugt som nærtrafikenhed. "Christoforus-Express" kørte oprindelig seks gange om ugen og derefter dagligt fra sommeren 1970. D 1484/1485 "Auto-Traum-Express" fra Hamburg-Altona til München øst blev introduceret som en forbindelse over natten, og udvidet med dette tilbud. Disse tog blev den bærende søjle for togtrafikken med motorrail i 1970'erne.
