Signalmodulet har 2 separate forbindelser til to lyssignaler med maksimalt 4 signalvilkår hver. 2 adresser gemmes i systemet for hver forbindelse, således 4 adresser for hvert signal modul.

Signaler kan tilsluttes med lamper såvel som med LED. Integreret logisk omskiftning til automatisk blokpostoperation.

I kombination med bremsegeneratoren (10779) er det muligt at skifte automatisk til et bremsesignal.
